Once Upon a Bridge... begins with Troll baking cookies and having a generally nice day welcoming the audience to her bridge. (She never gets visitors, so this is a special treat.)  Little Billy Goat comes by and without getting Troll's permission to go across the bridge, runs across and claims the bridge.  Troll is upset--what good is a Troll with no bridge?  Meddie M., an aspiring actress and Little's big sister, arrives.  Meddie M., with the help of Troll (and the audience, of course,) practices her performance--boy, does it make Little Billy Goat mad when not included!  Later, older brother, Big Billy Goat comes to the bridge.  He is so very upset because he missed his baseball game because Little didn't help with chores and he had do them.  Troll convinces Big to play a quick game there by the bridge and they get the audience involved.  It is only after missing out on things that Little Billy Goat finally realizes that bad behavior is a problem...and everyone gets to enjoy Troll's cookies.
